About the Course

Awarded by Qualifi and regulated by Ofqual. Internationally recognised qualification – 158 hours


The Level 5 Aesthetics Practice training course which covers the following units:


  • Legal and regulatory requirements in aesthetic practice

  • Professional standards within aesthetic practice

  • Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals

  • Anatomy, physiology and morphology of the ageing face

  • Skin needling and chemical peels


Following this course you will be eligible to progress onto the Level 7 Aesthetics Practice course. Career opportunities include Aesthetic Practitioner, Clinical Manager or Specialist, Beauty Therapist, Aesthetic Researcher, Aesthetic Educator etc.

Pre-RequisitesYou must hold a Level 4 in related field (e.g. Level 4 in Aesthetics Practice) or have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the industry. You will be required to show proof of qualifications e.g. your microneedling and chemical peel certificates. You must also have up-to-date basic life support and anaphylaxis training. If you do not have this then our Level 4 course must be completed first. This course is open to both medics and non-medics. To formally enrol you onto this course an informal discussion will firstly be held with you to ensure it is suitable for you. If you are already an experienced practitioner (and you can prove it) we may be able to evidence some of your previous learning through the RPL (Registered Prior Learning) process and therefore reduce your learning hours and practical sessions.


Course Content

  • Observational Learning

  • Short answer questions on above 5 units

  • Two assignments

  • Educator demonstration & explanation

  • Practical Workshops – 24 treatments (12 supervised 12 observed, RPL available)

  • Hands on learning with tutor demonstration and explanations


Important Information

The theory and practical sessions will be held in small groups. You will receive full support throughout your learning to ensure you are able to answer all the questions and are confident to perform the treatments to an excellent standard. We aim to ensure you are successful in your career or in your own clinic. For more information regarding this course please contact us. Emma has been teaching for 17 years and has trained thousands of people in the UK as well as internationally.
She has won many awards and is part-owner of another academy that was one of the first schools in Nottinghamshire to offer training in aesthetics for non-medics!
Emma has been doing beauty since the age of 16 so she has many, many years’ worth of knowledge to pass on.
Emma has also been nursing for years until she decided to give that up recently due to focusing on building the EMZ brand.
Emma is the founder of our 9 franchise branches and owns a medical device company in which she sells high quality, medical grade machines.
Emma specialises in Botox, Dermal Fillers, PDO Threads, and advanced electrolysis.
One of her favourite things to teach is Botox or anything that involves a needle really.
Fun Facts: Emma loves eating cakes. Did you know Emma has 6 children and has over 10 businesses! She is an amazing entrepreneur, and we don’t know where she finds the time!
