Anaphylaxis is a severe, life-threatening allergic reaction.
People having a anaphylactic reaction often have changes to their airway, breathing and/or circulation so it is vital that these signs are recognised and treated quickly.
If you are practicing aesthetics it is highly recommended that you learn how to look for the signs of anaphylaxis, how to administer an epi pen and have an epi pen onsite at all times.

Anaphylaxis is a severe, life-threatening event it is important to act fast.
In this accredited course you will explore some of the risk factors that are associated with anaphylaxis and what some of the statistics are for the allergies and anaphylaxis worldwide and within the UK and Europe.
You will go into detail in this course about the types of allergic reactions and how to recognise a reaction early in the process, as well as learning what the different kinds of allergic reactions are and the importance of recognising an anaphylactic reaction as quickly as possible.
