About the Course

Our LED Light Therapy Facial Course gives you the skills and confidence to take your facial skincare treatments to an advanced level.

LED Light Therapy works to soothe the skin, it is a relaxing treatment to receive and also offers hugely rejuvenating benefits to the skin when offered as a standalone treatment.

The LED (light-emitting diode) lights stimulate our cells and kick-start many processes which help rejuvenate the skin. First, LED therapy stimulates cells called fibroblasts which produce collagen. It also slows down the production of enzymes which break down collagen and make older skin lose its elasticity. The LED light therapy also speeds up the cell production, making skin regenerate faster which in turn creates fresher-looking complexions.

The mask, has specific wavelengths to penetrate the skin at varying depths to cause a specific response

The benefits of LED light therapy for facial treatments include treating acne, regulating natural oil production, stimulating collagen and elastin and minimising redness and wrinkles. LED light therapy has also been used for decades to boost the speed of healing and cell renewal, so is an ideal treatment to follow and finish other advanced aesthetics treatments such as Dermaplaning, Microneedling or Skin Peel.
